Wesizwe Platinum expects significantly higher loss for fiscal year 2024

Wesizwe Platinum Limited has issued a trading statement, as per JSE Limited Listings Requirements, indicating its financial results for the year ending 31 December 2024 are expected to show a more than 20% difference from the previous corresponding period. The company anticipates a loss per share of between 12.78 cents and 12.94 cents. This represents a substantial increase compared to the loss per share of 1.55 cents reported for the financial year ended 31 December 2023.

Similarly, the headline loss per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2024 is also projected to be between 12.78 cents and 12.94 cents, reflecting an increase of between 11.23 cents and 11.39 cents from the 1.55 cents headline loss per share in the previous comparable period.
