Bannerman Energy reports improved financials, corporate governance updates

Bannerman Energy Limited, listed as BMN on the NSX, announced its annual report for the period ended June 30, 2025, revealing a substantial increase in net assets to $186,687 from $105,711 in the prior year. The company also reported a reduced net loss after income tax from continuing operations of $(4,196), a significant improvement from $(9,562) in 2024. Cash and cash equivalents rose to $46,204, up from $24,046.

Total comprehensive loss for the year also narrowed to $(922) compared to $(7,945) in the previous period. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations improved to (2.35) cents from (6.30) cents. The number of shares in issue increased to 178,841,000.
