Capital Appreciation to rebrand as Araxi Limited from October 1

Capital Appreciation Limited has announced the finalisation of its company name change to "Araxi Limited," effective from 2025. This follows resolutions approved at an annual general meeting, as reported in a SENS announcement on September 3, 2025, and subsequent registration by the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission. The company's share code will also change to "AXX" on the JSE.

The last day for trading under the name "Capital Appreciation Limited" will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Trading under the new name "Araxi Limited" (JSE short name: Araxi and JSE share code: AXX) will commence on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. The record date for the name change is Friday, October 3, 2025, with dematerialised shareholders' accounts updated by Monday, October 6, 2025. Share certificates cannot be dematerialised or rematerialised after September 30, 2025.

The company has stated that it will retain its history and continue to be listed in the Technology – Software & Computer Services sector on the main board of the JSE. The announcement, issued from Johannesburg on September 22, 2025, names Investec Bank Limited as its sponsor.
