Netcare announces board and committee changes, new director appointed

Netcare Limited has announced changes to its board of directors and sub-committee compositions, effective September 19, 2025.

Busisiwe Mathe has been appointed as an independent non-executive director, effective October 1, 2025. She will also serve as a member of both the Social and Ethics Committee and the Audit Committee. Mathe is a qualified chartered accountant with over 15 years of consulting experience, bringing expertise in digital transformation, cyber security, and data privacy to the board.

Additionally, L Stephens has been appointed as the chair of the Audit Committee, effective October 1, 2025. This appointment follows the resignation of B Bulo from the board, effective September 30, 2025. Netcare expressed its confidence that the board will benefit from Mathe’s commercial acumen and leadership experience.
