PIC reduces stake in Afrimat, now holds 9.681%

Afrimat Limited announced today that the Public Investment Corporation SOC Limited (PIC) has disposed of a beneficial interest in the company’s securities. This disposal has reduced PIC's total beneficial interest to 9.681% of Afrimat's total issued ordinary share capital.

Afrimat formally received notification of this change in the prescribed form from the PIC. This disclosure aligns with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008, as amended, and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements.

The company's board confirms that the information in this announcement accurately reflects details in the TRP 121.1 form received from the PIC. The requisite notice in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act has been filed with the Takeover Regulation Panel. Valeo Capital (Pty) Ltd serves as the sponsor for Afrimat.
