Copper 360 reports significant financial losses

Copper 360 Limited reported a consolidated loss of R321,212 thousand for the year, a significant increase from R223,091 thousand in the prior period. The company's operating loss reached R370,297 thousand (Group) and R1,229,829 thousand (Company). Basic and diluted loss per share stood at 45.65 cents, while headline loss per share was 33.82 cents.

The financial performance was notably impacted by impairments, including R113,151 thousand for the SX-EW plant (Group), comprising R91,181 thousand in Property, Plant and Equipment and R21,970 thousand in Right-of-Use Assets. Additionally, an impairment of R1,180,082 thousand was recorded for the investment in subsidiary Shirley Hayes IPK (Pty) Ltd.
