Thungela appoints Moses Madondo as executive director

Thungela Resources Limited has formally appointed Moses Madondo as an executive director, effective September 5, 2025. Madondo also holds the position of the company's chief executive officer (CEO) designate. This appointment is in accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements.

Madondo's designation as CEO took effect from August 1, 2025, following a comprehensive selection process announced on January 21, 2025. His inclusion on the board is a crucial part of Thungela’s planned leadership transition, aiming to further integrate him into the executive leadership before he fully assumes the CEO role.

The announcement was made from Rosebank on September 8, 2025.
