Glencore sets H2 2025 distribution exchange rates

Glencore plc announced the currency amounts for its H2 2025 distribution, stemming from an aggregate distribution of $0.10 per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2024. The H2 payment is $0.05 per ordinary share. Shareholders on the Jersey register who opted for alternative currencies by 1 September 2025 will receive payments in Pounds Sterling, Euros, or Swiss Francs.

The exchange rates were determined using closing mid-exchange rates against the US dollar on 4 September 2025, as published in the Financial Times. These rates were GBP/USD 1.3426, EUR/USD 1.1635, and USD/CHF 0.8067.

Consequently, the distribution payable per share on 19 September 2025 will be £0.037241, €0.042974, and CHF 0.040335. An earlier announcement was made on 19 August 2025 regarding the South African Rand amount for shares on the Johannesburg register. Distributions for 2025 may be considered “qualified dividends” for US Federal income tax purposes.
