Barloworld concludes investigation into US export control violations

Barloworld Limited announced today that it has concluded its investigation into potential violations of US export control regulations, with the final narrative report submitted to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) on September 1, 2025. This follows an extension granted by the BIS, moving the deadline from June 2, 2025, to September 2, 2025, for the company to complete its investigation and submit a voluntary self-disclosure account.

The investigation found no U.S. sanctions violations by Barloworld. However, it did identify apparent violations of U.S. export controls, which the company states it takes seriously and is currently addressing. Shareholders will be kept informed of the outcomes of the BIS process.
