AECI concludes Schirm USA disposal, bolstering core business focus

AECI Limited successfully concluded the disposal of Schirm U.S.A., Inc. on Thursday, 28 August 2025, following the fulfillment or waiver of all precedent conditions. An amount of $40 million from the disposal consideration has been transferred to AECI and will be allocated in line with its capital framework.

The disposal aligns with AECI's strategy to optimize its portfolio and drive growth, with a focus on core businesses like AECI Mining and AECI Chemicals. The company is divesting from managed businesses that offer limited synergies, aiming to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

The board expressed gratitude to the management and staff of Schirm USA for their dedication and support. One Capital served as the equity sponsor, with Questco Proprietary Limited as the debt sponsor.
