Accelerate announces board changes and Portside disposal extension

Accelerate Property Fund Limited (APF) has announced the distribution of its Integrated Annual Report and Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM) by Friday, 12 September 2025. The AGM is scheduled for Wednesday, 15 October 2025, at 10:00.

In board changes, James Templeton was appointed chairman of the investment committee on 28 August 2025. The remuneration committee and nominations committee have merged into a single committee, with Abel Mawela and James Templeton co-chairing. Additionally, Donnovan Pydigadu was appointed as an independent non-executive director, lead independent director, chairman of the audit and risk committee, and a member of the investment committee, effective 1 September 2025.

The JSE has granted Accelerate an extension until 15 October 2025 for issuing the circular regarding the Portside transaction, which involves the disposal of its proportionate ownership in Portside Office Tower. This transaction constitutes a category 1 transaction under JSE Listings Requirements.
