MTN Group reports strong half-year, reshapes for digital

MTN Group reported service revenue up 22.4% to R105.1bn and EBITDA up 42.3% in H1 2025. Total subscribers increased 4.7% to 297.7 million.

The company is restructuring into Connectivity, Fintech, and Digital Infrastructure platforms. Leadership changes effective November include Tsholofelo Molefe overseeing M&A and Ferdi Moolman leading MTN SA.

MTN raised medium-term service revenue growth guidance to "at least high-teens."
