Mondi H1 EBITDA flat at €564m despite packaging growth

Mondi Plc reported underlying EBITDA of €564 million for H1 2025, flat versus the prior year despite strong packaging performance. Corrugated Packaging EBITDA jumped 42% to €203 million while Flexible Packaging rose 9% to €302 million.

Group revenue increased 5% to €3,909 million, but profit before tax dropped 17% to €247 million. Basic underlying earnings per share fell 15% to 42.7 euro cents.

Cash from operations improved 12% to €416 million. The company maintained its interim dividend at 23.33 euro cents per share.
