Datatec finalizes scrip distribution ratio for share dividend

Datatec Limited has announced the final ratio applicable to its scrip distribution alternative following the declaration of a cash dividend. Shareholders are entitled to 3.21027 scrip distribution shares for every 100 Datatec Ordinary Shares held on the Record Date, July 18, 2025. This ratio is based on the 30-day VWAP less the cash dividend. Where fractional shares arise, they will be rounded down, with a cash payment made for the fraction. The applicable cash payment will be determined with reference to the VWAP of a Datatec Ordinary Share traded on the JSE on Wednesday, 16 July 2025, discounted by 10%. Details of the cash payment will be announced on SENS on Thursday, 17 July 2025. The original cash dividend was declared at ZAR 200 cents per share.
