ANIREP boosts renewable capacity, eyes further expansion despite loss

Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Power Limited (ANIREP) reported a substantial increase in revenue to NAD 177.2 million for the year ended February 28, 2025, driven by the construction of the Khan Moses Mague //Garöeb solar plant. The company's installed solar capacity grew by 250% to 38.38 MWp and ANIREP assets rose to NAD 1.2 billion. Despite this growth, the company reported a loss before taxation of NAD 42.9 million due to a NAD 41.3 million share-based performance incentive scheme and increased development costs, and net asset value per share decreased to 812 cents.
