Lazard Asset Management increases stake in Bidvest to 5.07%

The Bidvest Group Limited (JSE: BVT) announced today that Lazard Asset Management LLC has increased its total interest in the company to 5.07% of the total issued shares. This disclosure, made in compliance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 2008, and the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, follows notification from Lazard Asset Management. Bidvest has also filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel. The Bidvest Board confirms that it has relied on the accuracy of the information received from Lazard Asset Management and accepts responsibility for the information as it relates to the company.
