Hudaco appoints Tlaleng Moabi as independent non-executive director

Hudaco Industries Limited (JSE:HDC) announced the appointment of Tlaleng Moabi as an independent non-executive director, effective July 1, 2025. Moabi brings over 25 years of experience in engineering and project management, holding a master's degree in transport engineering from Leeds University and a BSc Engineering from Wits University. Her expertise spans large infrastructure projects, including the Gautrain and initiatives under the Renewable Energy Independent Procurement Programme. As an entrepreneur, she founded and led ventures such as Nishati Infrastructure, focusing on renewable energy, water, ICT, and agriculture, and co-founded Enzani Technologies. Currently, she also serves as an independent non-executive director of Outsurance Group Limited, where she chairs the social and ethics committee and is a member of the audit, risk, and compliance committee. The announcement was made on June 24, 2025, with Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking acting as the sponsor.
