Truffle increases stake in Grindrod to 6.13%

Grindrod Limited (JSE:GNDE) announced today that Truffle Asset Management (Pty) Ltd. has increased its stake in the company. According to a formal notification received by Grindrod, Truffle now holds a beneficial interest of 6.13% in the ordinary shares of Grindrod. The Grindrod board has confirmed the accuracy of the information and its compliance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008 and paragraph 3.83(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited. As required by the Companies Act, Grindrod has filed the necessary notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
