Eastplats announces AGM voting results; director resignation considered

Eastern Platinum Limited (JSE: EPS) today announced the results of its 2025 Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders, held on June 17, 2025. A total of 122,533,921 common shares were voted, representing 60.51% of outstanding shares. All proposed directors were elected, with Dr. Bielin Shi having more votes withheld than in favor. As a result, Dr. Shi has tendered his resignation, which the Board will refer to the Corporate Governance and Compensation Committee for consideration. The re-appointment of Davidson & Company LLP as auditors for the ensuing year was approved, along with a resolution approving the issuance of unallocated options, rights and other entitlements under the Company's Stock Option Plan for another three years.
