Renergen reports steady LNG production, ASP Isotopes merger proposed

Renergen Limited (JSE: REN) announced its Fiscal Q1 2026 highlights, most notably a proposed merger with ASP Isotopes, aiming to create a unique critical minerals business with a strengthened balance sheet. LNG production remained relatively stable at 1,311 tons, slightly down from 1,371 tons in the previous quarter, attributed to a maintenance shutdown. Helium production was paused after filling one dewar to optimize filling solutions. The Springbok Solar Project is undergoing consultation regarding co-existence negotiations. Exploration activities included Vertical Seismic Profiling with promising gas accumulation indications, and five exploration wells are currently being drilled.
