Capital Group increases stake in Anglo American to 4.88%

The Capital Group Companies, Inc. has notified Anglo American PLC of an increase in its holdings, crossing a major threshold, with the acquisition of voting rights. As of June 11, 2025, The Capital Group Companies now holds 4.882429% of voting rights attached to shares. This translates to a total of 57,517,465 voting rights in Anglo American. These rights are held indirectly through Capital Research and Management Company and Capital International, Inc. The notification was issued on June 16, 2025.
