Mr Price co-founder Stewart Cohen to retire in August

Stewart Cohen, who co-founded Mr Price in 1985 and disrupted South African apparel retail with the fashion-value model, will retire as Honorary Chairman on August 27, 2025. Cohen has been a key member of the board since 1989, serving as co-executive Chairman before becoming a non-executive Director and Honorary Chairman in 1997. His retirement coincides with Mr Price Group's recent expansion beyond 3,000 stores and R40bn revenue milestone. Shareholders will have the opportunity to acknowledge Cohen's contributions at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 27, 2025. Cohen will continue to provide strategic input and guidance to the Mr Price Foundation.
