Metair appoints Alastair Walker as new CFO

Metair Investments Limited announced the appointment of Alastair Walker as its new CFO, effective July 1, 2025. Walker, a qualified Chartered Accountant, previously served as the Executive: Capital Structure and Treasury of Metair. He replaces Anesh Jogia, who resigned as CFO and executive director, with his notice period concluding on June 30, 2025. Metair also announced the formal establishment of a separate Operations, Risk and Technology Committee, effective June 10, 2025. Consequently, the Audit and Risk Committee is reconstituted as a stand-alone Audit Committee, with Nondumiso Medupe as chairperson, and members Billy Mawasha and Alupheli Sithebe. Alupheli Sithebe chairs the new Operations, Risk and Technology Committee, with Billy Mawasha, Peter Gilliam, and Manfred Muell as members.
