Elevate Uranium hits thick mineralisation at Marenica, expands exploration

ELEVATE URANIUM LIMITED (JSE:EL8) has announced a significant intersection of uranium mineralisation at its Marenica Uranium Project, located in Namibia. A 13-meter thick zone of granite-hosted mineralisation was identified near the surface in drill hole MAR2500. Additional mineralisation was also intersected to a depth of 58.5 meters in the same hole. This discovery marks a new style of mineralisation at Marenica, distinct from the traditional palaeochannel deposits, potentially expanding the project's exploration targets. According to Elevate Uranium's Managing Director, Murray Hill, the discovery came from a drilling program completed last month where multiple holes intersected basement hosted mineralisation. Interpretation of recent and historical drilling data is underway to plan future drill programs aimed at adding to the current 61 Mlb U3O8 resource. As a result of successful exploration outside of traditional palaeochannel hosted uranium the Company released a presentation titled "Developing our strategic uranium assets" outlining plans for expanded exploration.
