Quilter plc announces successful passage of resolutions at AGM

Quilter plc (JSE: QLT) announced the successful passage of all resolutions at its Annual General Meeting held on May 22, 2025. Shareholders approved Resolutions 1 through 16 as ordinary resolutions and Resolutions 17 and 18 as special resolutions. The meeting covered a range of topics, including the approval of the 2024 report and accounts, director re-elections, auditor appointments and remuneration, and authorization for political donations. While all resolutions passed, the company noted that over 20% of votes cast opposed Resolution 16, which concerned political donations. Quilter stated it would continue to engage with shareholders regarding these concerns and provide updates in due course. A final dividend was approved with 1,075,017,586 votes "For" and 1,677 votes "Against". Total customer investments stood at GBP 119.6 billion as of March 31, 2025.
