Mahube expects earnings decline up to 39.26%

Mahube Infrastructure Limited (JSE: MHB) announced that its earnings and headline earnings per share are expected to decrease by between 32.87% and 39.26% for the year ended 28 February 2025. The expected range is between ZAR58.21 cents and ZAR64.34 cents per share, compared to ZAR95.85 cents per share reported for the prior year ended 29 February 2024. The decrease is primarily attributed to lower dividends received from Mahube's investee companies during the period, as compared to the previous financial year, which included special dividends from solar project refinancing. The company's financial results for the year are expected to be published around 30 May 2025.
