Bidvest: JPMorgan Chase & Co. decreases stake to 4.78%

The Bidvest Group Limited (JSE:BVT) announced today that JPMorgan Chase & Co. has decreased its holding in the company to 4.78% of the total issued shares. The notification was made in compliance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 2008 and the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited. As required by section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Bidvest has filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel. The Bidvest Board has confirmed that it has relied on the accuracy of the information in JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s notification. The announcement is dated 5 May 2025, with Investec Bank Limited acting as sponsor.
