Koos Brandt retires from Bank Windhoek board after decades

Capricorn Group Limited (JSE:CGPE) announced the retirement of Mr. Jacobus Christiaan "Koos" Brandt from the board of directors of its major subsidiary, Bank Windhoek Limited, effective April 30, 2025. Mr. Brandt, a founder of Bank Windhoek in 1982, has served in various leadership roles, including as chairperson from 1982 until June 30, 2017. The board recognizes Mr. Brandt's pivotal role in the formation of Capricorn Group in 1996, where he served as inaugural chairperson until 2017, and his integral contribution to the growth and success of both organizations. The board has appointed Mr. JW Brandt as alternate director to Ms. E Solomon, effective May 1, 2025, following Mr. Koos Brandt's retirement.
