Jubilee Metals progressing copper ore trials at Zambian Roan operation

Jubilee Metals Group PLC (JSE:JBLE) announced progress in its Zambian copper operations. The company is finalizing trials of various high-grade copper ores at its Roan concentrator, initially announced on February 6, 2025. These trials aim to optimize material selection for a long-term supply agreement and have confirmed the potential for increased copper production. Circuit adjustments were required due to variations in mineralogical composition, slightly delaying the process. The ramp-up of the Munkoyo Open-Pit mine is on track to reach 8,500 tonnes per month (tpm) of high-grade Run-of-Mine (ROM) exceeding 2% copper (equating to 170tpm), with an additional 75,000 tpm of lower-grade ROM stockpiled. Trading of 10 million tonnes from Jubilee's Large Waste Project has commenced, with initial payments received. Management highlighted the trials have validated the decision to prioritize high-grade copper material processing.
