Elevate Uranium advances Namibian projects, appoints new chairman

Elevate Uranium Limited (JSE:EL8) announced key developments in its quarterly activities report, highlighting the advancement of its U-pgrade™ demonstration plant in Namibia, which is on schedule for completion by mid-2025. Exploration activities at the Koppies Uranium Project included drilling 8,639 meters across 308 holes, targeting a maiden uranium resource estimate this year. Drilling at the Marenica Uranium Project added 6,477 meters across 204 holes. Total exploration drilling in Namibia for the quarter was 23,715 meters across 817 holes. Separately, the Bigrlyi Joint Venture saw a 12% increase in the Mineral Resource to 23.9 Mlb U3O8, incorporating results from the 2024 drill program. The company also announced the appointment of Scott Perry as Non-Executive Chairman.
