Prosus appoints Nico Marais as new chief financial officer

Prosus N.V. (JSE:PRXE) announced today the appointment of Nico Marais, 51, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for both Prosus and the broader Naspers Group. Marais steps into the role after serving as interim CFO since December 2024 and previously holding the position of General Manager of Finance. His past involvement included the listing of Prosus and the unwinding of crossholdings. Marais will also join the Naspers board immediately as financial director and will join the Prosus board following the annual general meeting in August 2025.
