ANIREP chairperson resigns following ministerial appointment

Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Power Limited (ANIREP: JSE:ANENM) has announced the resignation of its Chairperson, Dr. Mac-Albert Hengari, effective today, April 23, 2025. Hengari's departure follows his appointment to the Cabinet of the Republic of Namibia as Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform. Dr. Hengari served as Chairperson of the Board since September 2020, having initially joined the Board in March 2018. The Board expressed its gratitude for his service. Ms. Gida Sekandi, the Deputy Chairperson, will serve as interim Chairperson until a substantive appointment is made. Cirrus Securities (Pty) Ltd serves as sponsor to ANIREP.
