Resilient REIT announces board changes; Sarita Martin appointed

Resilient REIT (JSE:RES) has announced changes to its board of directors. Dawn Marole will not seek re-election at the annual general meeting (AGM) on June 25, 2025, concluding her nine-year tenure as an independent non-executive director. Marole also serves as chairperson of the Risk Committee and a member of the Nomination Committee. Sarita Martin, holding BProc LLB and MBA (GIBS) qualifications, will be appointed as an independent non-executive director effective June 1, 2025. Martin brings extensive experience as an admitted attorney, accredited mediator, and governance specialist. She has been an independent non-executive director since December 2012 and currently chairs UsPlus Limited and the Integrated Exchange Proprietary Limited. The company expressed gratitude to Marole for her contributions and welcomed Martin to the board.
