Montauk Renewables breaks ground on Tulsa RNG project

Montauk Renewables Inc. (JSE:MKR) announced that its subsidiary, Tulsa LFG, LLC, has broken ground on a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) landfill gas project at the American Environmental Landfill (AEL) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The project, accompanied by an extension of the gas rights and lease agreement with AEL, is expected to have a production nameplate capacity averaging approximately 1,500 MMBtu per day, processing all available inlet gas feedstock. Montauk anticipates the project's capital investment to range between USD 25 million and USD 35 million, with a targeted commissioning date in the first quarter of 2027. The facility will support AEL, strengthening a key partnership for Montauk.
