Hammerson continues share buyback program, cancels acquired shares

Hammerson PLC (JSE:HMN) announced the purchase of 86,057 ordinary shares on April 8, 2025, as part of its previously announced share buyback programme initiated on October 16, 2024. The shares were bought from Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, with prices ranging from GBX 221.40 to GBX 234.40 and a volume-weighted average price of GBX 228.45. Following the purchase, the company has canceled the acquired shares. Concurrently, Hammerson confirmed that it took delivery of 406,569 ordinary shares bought under the Share Buyback Programme from March 31, 2025, to April 4, 2025, immediately canceling them. As of April 8, 2025, Hammerson's issued share capital consists of 488,478,387 ordinary shares, with 1,300,825 held in treasury, resulting in 487,177,562 total voting rights. Since the start of the buyback programme, Hammerson has acquired 11,923,290 ordinary shares.
