Alphamin to resume mining operations following insurgent withdrawal

Alphamin Resources Corp. (AFM:TSXV, APH:JSE AltX) announced plans to restart mining operations at its Bisie tin mine in the Walikale District of the Democratic Republic of Congo, following the withdrawal of insurgents. The company had evacuated the mine in mid-March due to security concerns. The phased resumption includes redeploying employees while closely monitoring the security situation. From January 1, 2025, to April 8, 2025, Alphamin sold and exported approximately 4,500 tonnes of contained tin with 280 tonnes still in transit. Q1 2025 production reached 4,270 tonnes of contained tin before operations were suspended on March 13, 2025. Alphamin expects to release its audited consolidated financial statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis for the year and quarter ended December 31, 2024, around April 17, 2025.
