Ninety One increases stake in The Foschini Group to 10.09%

The Foschini Group (JSE: TFG) announced that Ninety One SA (Pty) Ltd ("NinetyOne") has increased its interest in TFG's ordinary shares to 10.09% of the total issued ordinary share capital. This notification complies with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008, and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements. The TFG board has accepted responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the information disclosed, stating that the announcement does not omit anything likely to affect its importance. TFG has also filed the required notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel, as mandated by section 122(3)(a) of the Act.
