Old Mutual reports 14% earnings growth, dividend hike

Old Mutual Limited (JSE: OMU) reported a 14% increase in adjusted headline earnings for the year ended December 31, 2024, with adjusted headline earnings per share up by 17%. The Group’s results from operations grew by 4%, bolstered by strong performances from Old Mutual Insure and Wealth Management. The board declared a final dividend of 52 cents per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to 86 cents per share, reflecting a 6% increase and a dividend cover of 1.6 times.
