Smoore strengthens governance with new board appointments

Smoore International Holdings Limited has expanded its nomination committee and appointed a new lead independent non-executive director. Ms. Wang Xin, an executive director, and Mr. Yim Siu Wing, Simon, an independent non-executive director, will join the nomination committee.

In addition, Mr. Zhong Shan, an independent non-executive director, has been appointed as the lead independent non-executive director (Lead INED), also effective December 24, 2025. Mr. Zhong Shan will retain his existing board and committee positions, while the Lead INED role is non-executive and carries no management responsibilities within the group.

These strategic appointments are made in response to the amended corporate governance code, which took effect on July 1, 2025. The company believes these changes will enhance the effectiveness and diversity of its board, fostering stronger corporate governance practices overall.
