Swire Pacific announces key executive retirement and succession

Swire Pacific Limited announced a key leadership change today, with Patrick Healy resigning as an executive director of the company, effective May 13, 2026, due to his retirement from the Swire group. Mr. Healy's departure extends to his roles as executive director and chairman of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, where he will also retire at the conclusion of its 2026 annual general meeting on May 13, 2026. Additionally, he will step down as a director and chairman of Swire Coca-Cola Limited and a director of John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited on the same date.

Guy Martin Coutts Bradley is set to replace Mr. Healy as chairman of Cathay Pacific Airways and Swire Coca-Cola Limited on May 13, 2026. Mr. Healy confirmed no disagreement with the board and no matters relating to his resignation needing shareholder attention. He has served as an executive director of Swire Pacific since August 2021, having joined the Swire group in 1988 and held various roles in aviation, beverages, and industries across Hong Kong SAR, Germany, and the Chinese Mainland. The board expressed sincere gratitude for his dedicated service and contributions.

As of the announcement date, the board of directors comprises executive directors: Guy Bradley (chairman), David Cogman, Patrick Healy, Martin Murray; non-executive directors: Gordon McCallum, Merlin Swire; and independent non-executive directors: Paul Etchells, Edith Ngan, Gordon Orr, Xu Ying, and Bonnie Zhang.
