Haichang Ocean Park chairman under criminal investigation

Haichang Ocean Park Holdings Ltd. announced on December 22, 2025, that its chairman, executive director, and chief executive officer, Yu Faxiang, is subject to criminal compulsory measures by the Shaoxing Public Security Bureau for a suspected criminal offense. The case is under investigation. The company expects the matter to have no material impact on its ordinary production and operations.

In response, Yu proposed that Ouyang Ming, an executive director, temporarily assume the responsibilities of chairman, executive director, and chief executive officer.

Separately, Yu Honghua resigned as a non-executive director and a member of the remuneration committee on December 22, 2025, citing personal reasons. Following her resignation, Lai Zhilin, a non-executive director, was appointed as a member of the remuneration committee. Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when trading the company’s securities.
