CGN Power begins full construction of Lufeng Nuclear Unit 2

CGN Power Co., Ltd. announced the commencement of full construction for Lufeng Unit 2 of CGN Lufeng Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. The first concrete date (FCD) for the main plant of the nuclear reactor was December 22, 2025, marking the start of the civil construction phase for this key project.

Lufeng Unit 2 is designed with an installed capacity of 1,245MW, significantly contributing to the company's power generation capabilities. This development underscores CGN Power's ongoing expansion and commitment to nuclear energy projects.

The current board of directors for CGN Power Co., Ltd. includes Mr. Pang Songtao as an executive director, alongside non-executive directors Mr. Yang Changli, Ms. Li Li, Mr. Feng Jian, and Mr. Liu Huanbing. Independent non-executive directors are Mr. Wong Ming Fung, Mr. Li Fuyou, and Ms. Xu Hua.
