KuangChi Science subsidiary legal ruling upheld in retrial

KuangChi Science Limited announced that its board of directors received a civil ruling in mid-December 2025 concerning a retrial of a relevant case. The "Retrial Ruling" from the High Court upheld the Second Instance Judgment previously rendered by the Intermediate People's Court of Dongguan, Guangdong Province.

The company is currently collaborating with PRC legal counsel to evaluate the specific details of the retrial judgment. This assessment aims to formulate a response plan and determine the financial implications for the Group. KuangChi Science will also evaluate whether provisions or disclosures are necessary, in line with HKEX listing rules and applicable accounting standards. The board cautions shareholders and potential investors to exercise prudence when trading the company's shares. As of the announcement date, the board comprises three executive directors, two non-executive directors, and three independent non-executive directors.
