China Reinsurance postpones EGM, extends book closure to December 31

China Reinsurance (Group) Corporation has announced the postponement of its Second Extraordinary General Meeting of 2025 (EGM) from Tuesday, December 23, 2025, to Wednesday, December 31, 2025. This change is attributed to the need for coordination of work arrangements.

Consequently, the book closure period for confirming shareholder entitlements to attend the EGM has also been extended. Initially set to close on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the register of members will now remain closed until Wednesday, December 31, 2025, inclusive. Holders of H shares and domestic shares whose names appear on the register by this new date will be eligible to attend and vote at the EGM.

For unregistered H share holders planning to attend, all transfer documents, accompanied by relevant share certificates, must be lodged with Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, for share registration. A circular detailing the EGM resolutions will be dispatched to shareholders as soon as practicable.
