Sunny Optical sees strong growth in vehicle lens, camera module shipments

Sunny Optical Technology (Group) announced its November 2025 shipment volumes, showing a notable 69.4% year-on-year increase in vehicle lens sets, reaching 12,634 thousand units. This growth was primarily attributed to increased customer demand. Handset lens sets also saw a 7.5% year-on-year rise, with 119,456 thousand units shipped, although this represented a slight 2.3% month-on-month decrease. Spherical glass lenses increased by 13.8% year-on-year to 2,535 thousand units, while other lens sets declined by 33.0% year-on-year to 10,643 thousand units.

In optoelectronic products, handset camera modules experienced an 10.9% year-on-year increase, with 41,490 thousand units shipped in November 2025, driven by higher customer demand. Other optoelectronic products also grew by 7.6% year-on-year to 6,510 thousand units.

Microscopic instruments, part of the optical instruments segment, recorded a 22.1% month-on-month increase to 24,116 units but a 3.2% year-on-year decrease.
