GAC group sees mixed november with overall production and sales decline

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC Group) reported a total production volume of 187,461 units in November 2025, a 9.71% decrease from the same period last year. Year-to-date production for 2025 reached 1,579,127 units, down 7.62% compared to 2024. Sales volume for November 2025 totaled 179,652 units, marking a 9.72% year-on-year decline, with accumulated sales for 2025 at 1,534,036 units, a 10.80% decrease from the previous year.

Key subsidiaries showed varied performance. GAC Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. saw a significant 16.03% decrease in November production and a 22.97% drop in year-to-date sales. Conversely, GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. reported a modest 0.61% decrease in November production but a 3.98% increase in year-to-date sales. New energy vehicles (NEVs) were a brighter spot, with November production increasing by 7.97% and sales by 12.34% year-on-year.

Within the passenger vehicle segment, sedan production declined by 19.78% in November, and sales decreased by 14.61%. SUV production, however, saw a 1.19% increase for the month, with year-to-date production up 3.32%. Commercial vehicle production soared by 234.87% in November and 492.42% year-to-date, reflecting strong growth in this niche.
