Independent director Ma Yiu Tim to exit New China Life board

New China Life Insurance Company Ltd. announced its board received the resignation letter from Ma Yiu Tim, an independent non-executive director, on December 3, 2025. Ma Yiu Tim served as an independent non-executive director for six consecutive years and also held positions on the nomination and remuneration committee and the risk management and consumer rights protection committee of the board.

Ma Yiu Tim will maintain his directorship and responsibilities until a new independent non-executive director is elected by shareholders and approved by regulatory authorities. He confirmed no disagreement with the board regarding his resignation.

The board expressed sincere gratitude to Ma Yiu Tim for his contributions. As of the announcement date, the company's key personnel include Yang Yucheng as chairman and executive director, Gong Xingfeng as executive director, and several non-executive and independent non-executive directors.
