AIA group shares increase following option exercises

AIA Group Limited's monthly return for November 2025 indicates an increase of 1,625,490 in its issued ordinary shares, bringing the total to 10,506,065,453 shares at month-end. This growth primarily stems from exercises under the 2010 Share Option Scheme, which contributed all 1,625,490 new shares.

The total funds raised from the exercise of options during the month amounted to HK$93,822,156.85. Notably, the 2010 Share Option Scheme, which accounted for the exercised options, was terminated effective May 29, 2020, meaning no further options can be granted under it.

As of November 30, 2025, the number of share options outstanding under the 2010 SO Scheme was 12,990,208. Other schemes, including the 2020 Share Option Scheme and the Restricted Share Unit Scheme adopted on August 1, 2020, also have outstanding options, but did not contribute to new share issuances this month. AIA Group does not have an authorized share capital or nominal value for its ordinary shares.
