China Maple Leaf's world school program gains global academic recognition

China Maple Leaf Educational Systems Limited announced that its Maple Leaf World School Program (MLWSP) has received further global recognition for its academic standards. A benchmarking study by ECCTIS found MLWSP comparable to the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) standard.

This study builds on ECCTIS' previous 2024 benchmarking, which deemed the MLWSP high school diploma comparable to the UK GCE A Level, British Columbia (Canada) Certificate of Graduation, and US (New York) High School Diploma. This recognition supports MLWSP graduates' eligibility for undergraduate admissions in Hong Kong, the UK, USA, Canada, and other Western countries, subject to university entry conditions.

The MLWSP has been implemented in China since the 2020/2021 school year and has since gained widespread acceptance from universities and colleges globally. This voluntary announcement provides an update on the program's strong academic standing.
