BYD reports strong production and sales growth in November 2025

BYD Company Limited announced significant growth in its production and sales volumes for November 2025, with total new energy vehicle sales reaching 480,186 units, an 11.30% increase year-on-year. Production also saw a rise, with 474,175 new energy vehicles produced, marking a 7.29% increase compared to November 2024. Passenger vehicles were a key driver, with sales of 474,921 units (up 10.42% year-on-year) and production of 469,199 units (up 6.40% year-on-year).

Battery electric vehicles demonstrated particularly strong performance within the passenger vehicle segment, achieving a 32.67% year-on-year sales increase to 237,540 units and a 27.89% production increase to 233,631 units in November 2025. Commercial vehicles also experienced substantial growth, with sales surging by 213.29% to 5,265 units and production rising by 205.28% to 4,976 units compared to the same period last year.

The company's export volume for New Energy Vehicles in November 2025 was 131,935 units. Furthermore, BYD reported an installed capacity of approximately 27.669 GWh for NEV power battery and energy storage battery in November 2025, with the cumulative installed capacity for the year 2025 reaching approximately 258.282 GWh.
